This is basically very simple. I say in principle because there are limitations to which I shall explain later.
The color of a car so you can change to “View> Vehicles> Painting”. Here you can even change the look of the car, such as paint, stickers, and drawing with some brushes.
But here are some restrictions similar to the replacement of a complete model.
How to replace the model?
The simplest approach is that you go on http://www.trackmania-carpark.com, you go to select a skin of your choice, download and paste it into TrackMania.
Also, and this is important, without unpacking the zip file into the directory TrackMania \ Skins \ Vehicles \ StadiumCar \ insert. Then under “Select View > vehicles, the model and ready.
But …!
As with so many situations in life there is always a but. And so I now turn to the aforementioned restrictions. If you have exchanged the model of your car as described above, and didn’t read the text until the end, and then select the new car wanted, you probably wondering about the bullshit this guy told you. I don’t see the model anywhere. Right! Then you have the free version of the game, Trackmania Nations Forever. And then, to my disappointment, then the answer now is, you can’t change the skin. That is possible only with the full version of TrackMania United Nations.
A similar situation exists with the paint of your car. This change, although you can see, but the other online players see only the current standard car of your country for your skin.
